As a professional Toastmaster I am the family’s friend and support on the ‘big day’. I will ensure that the Bride and Bridegroom, parents, and of course the Best Man need not concern themselves with the order and timing of events.
As Toastmaster I will coordinate events in a professional manner so you can relax and enjoy your special occasion.
Liaising between the wedding party, caterers, photographers, musicians and guests, as Toastmaster I will oversee all the essential ingredients of your celebrations.
My duties for your Big Day?
- A couple of weeks prior to the Big Day, meet, liaise and advise on wedding etiquette and custom. Discuss any special requests, introductions and assist with speech preparation if requested.
- On the day, assist with synchronisation of photographs if required.
- Greet Bride and Groom at venue.
- Organise receiving line and announce guests.
- Ensure all special requests and arrangements are in place.
- Announce the Bride and Bridegroom and escort them to their places on the Top Table.
- Announce Grace.
- Announce and oversee the cutting of the cake.
- Conduct the Toast, introduce the speakers and assist with presents and bouquets if required.
- Ensure the circulation of the Guest Book.
- Announce and arrange the retiring of the Bride and Bridegroom from the Top Table. Ensure that guests are aware of subsequent arrangements.
- Liaise with caterers and musicians to ensure that equipment is set up and dance floor cleared.
- Announce the Bride and Bridegroom are taking the floor for the first time.
